Oh I'm sorry, all I heard was, "Knock Knock Knock, we're annoying neighbors!"

So whilst trying to sleep the other night, the neighbors upstairs were making quite a bit of noise. It sounded much like a team of elephants playing football against a team of rhinos. What's up with that? So after about 10 minutes of this going on, I decided to stand up on my bed and knock. So... [knock knock knock] I did. And what did I hear in reply?

"What's that? Someone's knocking? [STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP] hahaha!"

Wow, how rude. Now, I can understand that if I was trying to be nice, I should have gone upstairs, knocked on their door politely, and asked them to please keep it down a bit because I'm trying to sleep. But they were the same people that had, last semester, come down while we were playing mario kart and asked us to turn our music down. As Tony, who had answered the door asked what music they were talking about, she was already in the doorway to the stairwell going back upstairs. There was also another issue with loud music, which wasn't all that loud in the first place.

So, if I'm a little less willing to be nice and kind to them, it's because of that. It just strikes me as incredibly rude for people to act in such a way in response to a gesture that keys them into the fact that they were being loud! What would you do? Would you stomp back and laugh if someone knocked on your floor from the bedroom beneath you? Craazyness.

In other news, I need to express my dislike of the state of the union address, simply because it falls during the hour that both scrubs episodes are normally scheduled. Wtf?

"That was easy."

Slacker

I was watching Back to the Future 2 the other day on tbs. That's the one where Marty and Doc go into the future and somehow the old Biff gets a hold of an almanac that tells the future of all sporting events from 1975-2000. He brings it to the past, gives it to himself, and changes the world forever. So when Marty and the Doc go back to 1985 and they find that it's changed, they run into some interesting people. Like the old principal wasn't the principal anymore because the school burned down, but he was calling everyone slackers... as he shot students who drove by to pepper his house with bullets with a shotgun, and called them slackers. He even called Marty a slacker and he didn't know who he was at the time. That's what I've been for a while, as far as blog entries go.

My mind's been feeling very sleepy lately. I actually went to go write a blog entry a few times, but I just had nothing to say. My mind feels dry. Even in conversations with real people, I just feel like I have nothing to say. I look around at people having conversations in class, in extracurricular activities, online - I just have nothing to say. I need to wake up again. Someone set an alarm clock for 10 min ago, cause i'm sick of this.

On a brighter note, my parents are coming tomorrow. They haven't actually even seen the apartment since I moved in, so that'll be fun for them. I'm excited to see my sister and give her a hug for getting into 4/5 colleges that she applied to. The 5th one is John Carrol, which she has an interview at tomorrow afternoon (they stop there first, then come to pittsburgh). Fingers crossed for her ;) Should probably clean up around here though... maybe I can borrow sarah's vacuum to pick up some of the big shit.

I went searching for apartments with simon this past weekend, claire came too to give us her input as well. Most of the places that we're looking at have tennents that aren't going to be out until around may or june, and so we have to wait till like march to call them back, to find out if they're going to renew their leases or not. I think that we have enough places to check that we'll find a decent place for our senior year pad.

Anyway, if anyone has any techniques for mentally stimulating one's self, let me know, and suduku is not an option, btw. Mmm... maybe I should start playing not pron again....
